President Steven Leath will share his decision on recommendations he received from the 2014 Veishea Task Force during a news conference today (Aug. 7), beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Campanile Room.

In the aftermath of an April 8 late-night disturbance in Campustown, Leath canceled the remainder of Veishea 2014 and appointed a task force to examine the celebration's future. Led by senior vice president for student affairs Tom Hill, the task force held a series of meetings from late April through late June and submitted its final report and recommendations to the president on July 11.
