Jacobson named Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery
Doug Jacobson, University Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, recently was named a Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He was honored, along with three other recipients in the educator category, for his accomplishments and career achievements.
Song named IEEE fellow
Jiming Song, associate professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering, has been elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for his contributions to algorithms in computational electromagnetics.
