Mosher and Schwab honored at ATMAE Conference
Gretchen Mosher and Charles Schwab were recognized for their work and contributions to education and research at the 2018 Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering annual conference. Mosher, an associate professor in agricultural and biosystems engineering, received the Faculty Excellence Award, and Schwab, a professor in agricultural and biosystems engineering, received the Epsilon Pi Tau Distinguished Service Citation.
Lonergan receives national teaching award
Steven Lonergan, professor of animal science, received one of two national Excellence in Teaching awards from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture. Nominees are evaluated for their effectiveness as instructors, educational innovation, service to students, professionalism and scholarship in the food and agricultural sciences. The teaching awards program is a partnership among the institute, University of Florida and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
