Lawrence named to journal editorship

Novotny Lawrence, associate professor in English and the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communications, begins serving Aug. 1 as editor of "The Journal of Popular Culture" in a five-year appointment. The journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal, publishing essays on all aspects of popular culture. It's the official publication of the Popular Culture Association.
