Receptions and open houses

The Memorial Union Art Gallery is hosting an exhibit by Iowa State students,"Studies in Creativity," through Nov. 20. It features 34 artworks by 25 student artists, selected by juror Julia Franklin of Mainframe Studios in Des Moines. She also chose the award winners, who will be announced at the reception (6-7:30 p.m., Franklin's comments begin at 6:15 p.m.).
