David Baum, Aug. 31
Baum, a clinical professor in veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine at the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, will retire from the university on Aug. 31.
Virginia Speight, Sept. 3
Speight, director of residence life and conference services for the residence department, is leaving Iowa State to focus on completing her doctoral degree. Her last day at the university is Sept. 3.
Cynthia Lidtke, Aug. 28
Lidtke, coordinator of the DataFEWSion graduate traineeship program in the industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department, is retiring Aug. 28. Post well wishes to her Kudoboard.
Monica Sogard, Aug. 1
Sogard, an account clerk in the accounts receivable office, is retiring from the university on Aug. 1.
Caitlin Ware, Aug. 9
Ware, communications specialist in the office of the vice president for research, accepted a position at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Arts and events
Iowa State will celebrate 125 years of the campanile and Stanton Memorial Carillon with a free public concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15.
