Civil Rights office will make site visit to campus
Officials in the federal Office for Civil Rights (OCR) will visit Iowa State April 20-22 to follow up on a complaint about ISU's handling of a sexual assault allegation made by one student against another. As part of the visit, the OCR team will hold open office times April 21 and 22 for individual students, faculty and staff who'd like to discuss civil rights issues.

University human resources recently welcomed two directors to its staff. Edward Holland joined the university on March 10, and Emma Mallarino Houghton started April 13.

Faculty P&T list goes to regents next week
The state Board of Regents will be asked to approve 70 Iowa State faculty promotion or tenure awards when it meets April 23. The list includes 39 requests for promotion with tenure and 27 requests for promotions for previously tenured faculty.
