First day
The Iowa State community started our spring semester this week. Here's to 16 productive weeks ahead!
Have symptoms? Pick up an at-home rapid test on campus
Beginning Jan. 20, COVID-19 symptomatic employees and students can pick up a free rapid antigen test at five campus locations, one of many testing options available as COVID-19 cases rise. Also, three more vaccine clinics are scheduled in State Gym.
Welcome
Sharon Perry-Fantini, Iowa State's vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion, began in her new role this week.
Wickert appointed to third provost term
His reappointment reflects strengths identified in a 2019 Faculty Senate review of his office and a fall 2021 administrative survey about his job performance.
Senators receive update on student mental health
Because students continue to struggle with their mental health, student affairs launched a new campaign last fall. Cyclone Support is one way students are met online and directed to on-campus resources.
TIAA begins offering one-on-one consultations on campus
Employees thinking about their retirement planning have a more convenient and consistent option for getting a personalized financial check-up.
Clinics will focus on effective leadership
The three online clinics are intended for Faculty Senate and P&S Council members, but they are open to all faculty and staff. Skills learned can be applied in roles across campus.
