Sliding into electric: CyRide adds two buses
CyRide added two electric buses to its fleet this summer. The 40-foot buses can cover a daylong route on a single charge. Afterward, they're plugged in to two stations housed indoors at CyRide and fully recharge in about four hours.
Wind turbine will come down next week
After more than a decade in service, the wind turbine between the university power plant and CyRide facility will be removed. Demolition is slated to conclude by Thursday, Aug. 10.
